When I was in my twenties, I drove from Toronto to LA in a beat-up van with my bandmates chasing a record deal we believed would change our lives.
Like many musicians, we thought success was just around the corner. What we discovered instead was how fragile friendships can become when dreams, ego, and reality collide.
The Boys Have Drive tells a story of ambition, brotherhood, and the moment when you realize the dream you’ve been chasing might not turn out the way you imagined. It’s about boys learning to support each other through adversity; and taking their first steps towards becoming men.
